Loyalty:
If you work for a man, in heaven’s name work for him, speak well of him, and stand by the institution he represents. Remember, an ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness. If you must growl, condemn and eternally find fault – resign your position, and when you are outside, damn to your heart’s content – but as long as you are part of the institution, do not condemn it. If you do, the first high wind that comes along will blow you away, probably you will never know why. – Elbert Hubbard Quote
Pilipinas Kong Mahal:
Ang bayan ko’y tanging ikaw Pilipinas kong mahal Ang puso ko at buhay man Sa iyo’y ibibigay Tungkulin ko’y gagampanan Na lagi kang paglingkuran Ang laya mo’y babantayan Pilipinas kong hirang Bayan sa silanga’y hiyas Pilipinas kong mahal Kami’y iyo hanggang wakas Pilipinas kong mahal Mga ninuno naming lahat Sa iyo’y naglingkod ng tapat Ligaya mo’y aming hangad Pilipinas kong mahal
MILITARY DISCIPLINE:
Military Discipline is a state of order and obedience existing within a command. It involves the ready subordination of the will of the individual for the good of the group. Military Discipline is an extension and a specialized application of the discipline demands habitual but reasoned obedience that preserves initiative and functions unfalteringly even in the absence of the Commander. Discipline is created within a command by instilling a sense of confidence and responsibility in each individual. Discipline demands correct performance of duty. The need for discipline is best inculcated in individual by appealing to his sense of reason. In the few instances where appeal to reason fail, the use of punishment is effective in causing recalcitrant individual to conform and perhaps appreciate the need for discipline. Condemnation and earned praise from senior to his subordinate, either individually or collectively, for tasks well done serve to strengthen the disciplinary bonds which bind together the smooth functioning team.
MILITARY LEADERSHIP:
Is the art of influencing and directing subordinates to an assigned goal in such a way as to obtain their obedience, confidence, respect and loyal cooperation to accomplish a mission. It is indespensable to success in combat operation. Like all leadership, it is dependent upon personal traits and upon the application of recognized techniques. Leadership is the art of inducing others to cooperate. The purpose of the study of leadership is to provide military leaders with a practical guide for applying principles of leadership. In the ultimate sense, leadership is not inherent, it depends upon traits which can be developed and upon the application of techniques which can be learned.
